Well-conditioned leg and hip muscles can also relieve pain from a variety of back ailments.

One of the best ways to prevent back pain or a herniated disc is to stabilize the muscle core. Quite often, people experience back pain because the muscles in the back are forced to over compensate for the abdominal muscles, probably due to an improper posture. Strengthening the core regions can stabilize the spine, allow for ideal spinal movement, as well as maintain the correct posture.
